These Triffling Heffas Didnt Go to Gabes Funeral?: BFV Fans Tear Into Trinas Si

The newest episode of “Braxton Family Values” opened on a somber note Thursday amid the discussion of the passing of Trina Braxton’sex-husband Gabe Solis. As Trina mourned, it was revealed that none of the Braxton siblings attended her ex’s funeral services, and fans were displeased by their actions.

Toni Braxtonvisited sister Tamar Braxton, who was at home getting an IV in an effort to recuperate from a cold. The two discuss Trina giving them the news that her ex had passed away from cancer.

“We didn’t expect for Gabe to pass,” Toni explains in a confessional. “We didn’t expect him to cross over. We thought we had time, and I feel bad about it. I feel so bad. I feel bad for Trina. … I don’t think she thought he was gonna pass so suddenly, either. And I wish we could have been there with Trina at the funeral, I wish we could have been at the hospital when Gabe had the surgeries.”

Toni added that she felt it was time to reunite the family in Los Angeles to support Trina, who considered Solis her best friend, as she grieves.

But the offer to support Trina in the aftermath didn’t sit well with fans, despite the sisters later gathering for a meal with Trina and offering to put on a fun memorial — what they termed a “femorial” — in Solis’ honor.

“BFV wait, ✋ now I know the the sisters didn’t really like Gabe but you mean to tell me not one of them went to Gabe funeral🙏in support of Trina. Wow how selfish can you get.”

“So u mean to tell me these ole trifling heffas didn’t go to Gabe funeral???”

“That is so sad 😢 and they all look fake at that table and no one was with Trina smdh!!! And now Tamar talking about something for tv so fake.😠”

“Fake sisters, knowing they didn’t even like Gabe, but wanna sit around with sad faces & going down memory lane like they feel for Trina…BULLS–T! They are probably happy Gabe passed away, that’s just how much they hated him!”

Regardless of the fans’ response, Trina herself said in a confessional that she appreciated her sisters’ support in the aftermath of the funeral.

“It’s really, really cool that my sisters are here for me and helping me remember all the really funny and great times we had and that I had with Gabe,” she said. “It just feels good to laugh and smile just a little bit.”

Solis died surrounded by family in Texas in December after a battle with cancer. He was 43 years old.
