Swerve Strickland On Keith Lee: Set The Fight Up, Ill Be There
Swerve Strickland still wants to settle the score with Keith Lee.
Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee previously teamed up to form Swerve in Our Glory, and they won the AEW World Tag Team Championship, but Strickland later turned on Lee. The former partners feuded for months, but they have yet to clash in a singles match. Instead, Strickland has entered a rivalry with “Hangman” Adam Page, while Lee has sporadically wrestled in recent weeks.
Speaking with Tim Battle and Eli on the Battleground Podcast, Keith Lee came up in the conversation, and Strickland made it clear that he wants to face him.
“I’m still looking for Keith Lee. Where has he been? I’ll settle any score, anywhere. It don’t matter to me,” Swerve Strickland said. “It’s almost like those fighters and boxing fights, like just make the fight. Make the fight. Hey, I’m not the booker. I’m not the guy controlling the money on this whole thing. Set the fight up, I’ll be there. I might lose the weigh-in, but I’ll be there for the fight.”
At AEW WrestleDream, Swerve Strickland will face “Hangman” Adam Page. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
