Over a dozen members of Shania Twain’s crew were hospitalized following a tour bus crash in Canada between the singer’s Queen of Me tour dates.

“One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain – Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon,” Twain’s management company, Maverick Management, said in a statement. “Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather.”

“Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals,” the statement continued. “We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”

The Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued a statement Wednesday morning (Nov 8) that the Indian Head RCMP received reports of a rolled coach bus on Highway #1, east of Wolseley, Saskatchewan, at around 7 in the morning. Due to poor road conditions, the highway was closed to travelers.

Although 13 people were hospitalized in the wake of the accident, none suffered life-threatening injuries. Shania Twain was not on board the bus and is safe.

Shania Twain Preparing to Wrap Tour and Hit Vegas

The country-pop singer kicked off her Queen of Me Tour in Spokane, Washington, on April 28. In the 7 months since, she’s traveled across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. She last performed at the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Tuesday. She is scheduled to continue on at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon on Thursday (Nov 9). Twain’s final three stops are Calgary on Nov 11, Edmonton on Nov 12, and Vancouver on Nov 14.

Once her tour is complete, Shania Twain will take a much-deserved break before embarking on her third Las Vegas residency. Beginning on May 10, 2024, the singer will hit the stage at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

From there, she will put on 24 performances through December. “The audience can expect all the hits with a few fan favorites from the new album in there,” Twain said in a statement.
