Kim Cattrall is back on “And Just Like That…” — and star Cynthia Nixon is spilling the Cosmo on her reemergence in the series.

Nixon, 57, got candid with Vanity Fair recently about how the “Sex and the City” spinoff has changed without Cattrall, 66, who played the sexed-up publicist of a certain age, Samantha Jones.

The Post exclusively reported on May 31 that the “Ice Princess” star would be returning in a brief cameo in season two of the Max series — set to premiere later this summer.

Nixon explained that Cattrall’s shocking return is “not something that we speak about.”

The “Gilded Age” actress then seemingly hinted about Cattrall that the “SATC” cast — including herself and stars Sarah Jessica Parker as well as Kristin Davis — had to “[walk] around on eggshells with someone who’s unhappy.”

“We all love each other, we love our show, we wanted to do more of it. And we all wanted to be there. So that makes an enormous difference,” Nixon added of the spinoff’s cast.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, “Sex and The City” star Cynthia Nixon suggested that she and her cast mates, including Sarah Jessica Parker (middle) and Kristin Davis (not pictured), felt they were “walking on eggshells” around Cattrall while filming the HBO series. Everett

She then noted how the “AJLT” has an array of characters who are dissimilar from the parent series.

“It felt very different also because we have these new amazing characters, and we’re older and our fictional children are now largely grown,” she said.

“Many things felt different,” Nixon went on. “But the main thing that felt so great was that everybody who was there really wanted to be there. That’s just the bottom line.”

She was also inquired if she still talks to Cattrall, however, she refused to answer. “That is all I’m gonna say, I’m afraid. And that’s much more than I’ve ever said to anybody,” Nixon stated.

The “Filthy Rich” star had shot her cameo on March 22 in New York City without speaking to any members of the cast.

The appearance is also set to be a “cliffhanger,” and Cattrall would not film if showrunner Michael Patrick King was present.

“Kim had two stipulations — one, that she would not act with any of the other girls, and two, she did not want to see Michael Patrick King,” an insider told Page Six earlier this month.

In a separate interview published on Thursday, Nixon divulged that she originally auditioned for Carrie Bradshaw — Parker’s iconic character.

On an episode of the “And Just Like That… The Writers Room” podcast, the former political candidate noted that the producers of the HBO series weren’t fans of her reel.

While she declined the role, Nixon still desperately wanted to be on the hit ’90s comedy-drama.

“And I said to myself — and I’m usually not so proactive — but I was like, at the time, it didn’t seem like there were four women, it seemed there were, like, seven,” Nixon said.

She continued, “And I was like, ‘It’s a show that shoots in New York. This never happens. There’s got to be one of those women I can play. Couldn’t they see me for somebody else?'”

Nixon was later called back to read for the role of lawyer Miranda Hobbes and her agent at the time even gave her tips on how to score the gig.

“And my manager of, like, how ever many years — I can’t even calculate it — said to me before I went in for Miranda, she was like, ‘Maybe you could comb your hair. Maybe you could wear some lipstick,'” she recalled.

Even Davis was also asked to try out for Carrie, however, she won the job of character Charlotte York.
