The death has occurred of Staff Sergeant Alan “Yosh” Yoshida, who served in the United States Air Force. Those who were impacted by the demise of Staff Sergeant Alan T. Yoshida made the announcement that he had passed away.
According to the sources, he passed very suddenly. His unflinching commitment to the Combat Control fraternity, his unflinching humility, and his unflinching spirit of service will continue to serve as a source of inspiration for future generations.
Despite the fact that Alan is no longer with us, his legacy will endure. Please accept our sincere sympathies on behalf of the whole family and friends of Alan. We pray that his memory will be cherished for all eternity, and that his dedication to helping others will serve as a beacon of inspiration for all of us.
Due to the fact that Alan was instrumental in the establishment of the Combat Control Foundation, our efforts to raise money were significantly impacted by his contributions. He was committed in a manner that extended much beyond monetary contributions.
In an effort to support the community, Alan’s daughter tirelessly ran the bar at the first two fundraisers that he attended with his family.
Meanwhile, Alan’s wife took photographs that recorded priceless memories. All of this was done in a selfless manner. In large part, the early successes of the Foundation may be attributed to Alan’s unflinching determination.
Our sincere condolences go out to the family, teammates, and friends of CMSgt. Alan “Yosh” Yoshida from all of us. After the attacks of September 11, Yosh, a great warrior, was one of the first people to set foot in Afghanistan. Our nation and our society have suffered the loss of a great warrior. “Until we RV in Valhalla,” she said.
His humility was remarkable, and he exemplified the mission of the Combat Control group, which places a high value on the importance of teamwork and friendship above all else.
The fact that Alan harbors a strong yearning to be with his fellow soldiers is illustrative of his nature. His attention was solely directed toward the accomplishment of the task and the health and safety of his fellow soldiers; he did not seek accolades or make great displays.
Aside from the commitments he made to the Foundation, Alan fostered partnerships with the intention of promoting the careers and opportunities available to members of the Combat Control community.
The lives of a great number of people have been profoundly altered as a result of his leadership and visionary leadership.
